✂️ Materials: 🖌️
Half of an 8x11 sheet (folded to make the card)
Cardstock (for the monster cutouts)
Circle (monster body)
Four rectangles (arms and legs)
Small rectangles (three fake hairs)
Black circle (open mouth)
Movable eyes (one per card)
Cupcake stickers (one per card)

📝 Preparation: 💡
Gather all your materials: Make sure you have enough cardstock, wiggle eyes, and cupcake stickers for the number of cards you plan to make.
Pre-cut the shapes: Cut the circles, rectangles, and black circles from the cardstock.
Prepare the work area: Arrange a clean, flat surface to assemble the cards.
🫶 Activity ✍️:
Build the monster:
Glue the large circle (body) to the front of the folded card.
Attach the four rectangles (arms and legs) to the body.
Glue the small rectangles (little hairs) on the upper part of the body.
Place the black circle (open mouth) on the body.
Place the moveable eye on the monster's face.
Add the cupcake sticker: Place the sticker so it looks like the monster is holding the cupcake.
Stamp the message inside: Use the wooden stamp to stamp the birthday message inside the card.
Personalize the card: Write the student's name, date and your signature inside the card.
🧠 Benefits 💌:
Creativity: Making the monster design allows for creative expression and can be adapted to create various characters for different occasions.
Cost effective: Using basic materials and purchasing in large quantities keeps costs down, making it affordable to produce many cards.
Uniformity: Ensures that all students receive the same card, promoting a sense of equity.

Use other embellishments: In addition to wiggly eyes and stickers, you can use buttons, ribbons, or glitter to add more variety to the cards.
Involve the kids: Let the kids help cut out the shapes and assemble the cards. It's a great way to develop their fine motor skills and creativity.
Stay organized: Store pre-cut shapes and other materials in labeled containers to make the card-making process more efficient.
